How Our Sessions Work
Family sessions last up to an hour and can include up to three outfit changes. With little ones, we usually recommend planning for two outfit changes at most—young kids often run out of patience, and keeping it simple helps us capture their happiest moments. The session can take place in our spacious studio, perfect for everything from cozy family shots to large, multi-generation portraits. And yes—pets are always welcome! They’re part of the family, after all.
What to Expect
I’ll guide you through natural poses, fun prompts, and candid interactions so your session feels relaxed and enjoyable. Expect plenty of laughter, snuggles, and playful moments—especially with little ones involved. If you’re bringing grandparents or extended family, we’ll make sure to capture a mix of group portraits and smaller family combinations, so everyone gets a chance in front of the camera. My goal is to create a gallery that feels authentic, full of personality, and true to your family.
What to Wear & Bring
Coordinated (but not matching) outfits always look best in family portraits. Soft, neutral tones or complementary colors photograph beautifully, while avoiding busy patterns keeps the focus on your connections. Since we can include up to three outfit changes, some families like to start with a classic look, then change into something more relaxed or playful. Don’t forget to dress your pets in a simple collar or accessory if they’re joining—it’s those little touches that make your portraits uniquely yours.
